Environmental Portraits (Assignment 2)

For this assignment we were asked to take environmental portraits of Londoners.

London’s friendliest butcher at J Seal Butchers in Barns.

The jazz man in Leistersquare Underground station.

Ahmed’s catch of the day.

Hung out to dry in East London.

Broadway market fisheries in Hackney.

Here is something else that moved me this week. A series by a Mexican photographer named Pedro Meyer who documented his father’s losing battle with cancer. Its 35min long but he really gets to the core of what it is like to be a story telling photographer. I hope you will appreciate it as much as I did.
