Born in South Africa in 1983, I am a nature loving thrill seeker with a taste for beauty and good pictures. I have been in the photographic industry for a while now, working mostly in Europe and the Middle-East. In 2010 I founded the commercial photographic agency, I AM Photography and have been working under the name ever since. I have worked as a stringer for various international news agencies in areas torn apart by wars and natural disasters. In 2012 I was awarded a master’s degree in photojournalism and documentary photography by the University of the Arts in London (LCC). After a decade of travelling and living abroad, I have decided to return to Cape Town where I grew up and take on the African media market. I am currently working with The Independent Newspaper group and IOL News covering daily hard news, social and political issues around South Africa. With this photoblog I will be sharing the outcome of my assignments, photographic excursions and travelling experiences. Please feel free to comment and critique. Enjoy the show.
